little logs

Your information

Privacy policy.

Effective October 27, 2026

Little Logs is a baby-care record keeper for parents and caregivers. This policy explains the information used by the app and this website.

Care records stay on your device

The app stores your baby's profile, optional birth date, feeding preferences, bottle and nursing records, sleep records, diaper changes, notes, feeding-reminder schedules and checklist marks, the date you last saved a backup of each baby, and app preferences in local device storage. Little Logs does not upload these records to an app server or to RevenueCat. There is no Little Logs account, automatic caregiver sync, or app-managed cloud service. Care summaries are shared only when you choose a recipient.

The renamed Little Logs release excludes its local care database from device backups. Earlier builds may have allowed operating-system backups; any existing backup copies remain under your device provider’s controls. Little Logs does not provide cloud backup. Removing the app or losing this device can lose your care records, so keep private exports of each baby you want to retain.

Subscriptions and access

Apple processes purchases. RevenueCat helps validate purchases and determine whether a subscription is active. This involves purchase history, product and transaction information, subscription status, and an anonymous app user identifier generated by RevenueCat. Technical context such as app version, platform, locale and currency may accompany subscription requests. We use purchase information to provide access and understand subscription activity.

We do not receive your payment-card details. We do not send your baby's profile or care logs as customer attributes. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy for their practices. A local access record remembers the one-time courtesy period, whether purchase access has been seen, and the renewal date Apple last confirmed for an active subscription, so the app can open without waiting for the App Store; it does not contain your payment details.

Language and formats

The app reads your iPhone’s language, region, measurement and clock settings on the device to choose its language, date and time formats and default bottle unit. Little Logs does not send these settings anywhere.

Apple Ads measurement in version 1.2 and later

Starting with version 1.2, Little Logs sends Apple’s AdServices attribution token, when available, to RevenueCat to measure which of our App Store ads led to an installation or subscription. Apple returns limited attribution information such as campaign, ad group, keyword and country or region; its attribution payload does not identify a person or device. This information is associated with RevenueCat’s anonymous app user identifier and subscription activity. We do not send baby profiles or care records for ad measurement, collect the IDFA advertising identifier, or track people across other companies’ apps and websites. No advertisements are displayed inside Little Logs.

Reminders and sharing

Feeding reminders are scheduled locally on your device after you opt in to notifications. Alerts use generic wording in your iPhone’s language, without your baby’s name or care details. You can use the checklist without notifications and change or turn off alerts. Trends is calculated from locally saved records. Share care summary opens the system share sheet only when you choose it; the recipient you select receives that snapshot under its own practices.

Exports and imports are your choice

Export creates a JSON copy of the selected baby’s profile, reminder settings and care records, along with app preferences. Export each baby separately if you want a copy of every baby’s records. Import reads an export file you pick, on your device only; nothing is uploaded. You choose where to save or share it using your device's sharing controls. The recipient or storage service you select handles that copy under its own practices. Exports exclude internal access and purchase credentials. When you finish sharing an export, for example by saving it to Files, the app saves that date on your device to show your last backup; cancelling or copying does not. The app may suggest an export on Today, but it never uploads or backs up records for you.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and resolve your request, retaining them as needed for support and applicable record-keeping obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary baby-care or financial information. Our email provider also processes these messages.

This website

This is an informational website with no care-log forms or checkout. We have not added advertising trackers or visitor analytics. Cloudflare hosts this website and may process normal web-request information, such as an IP address, requested page and browser information, to deliver and secure it. Links to other services are subject to those services’ policies.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell baby-care records or use them for targeted advertising. Subscription and support providers receive only the information involved in their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect legal rights and security. Service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States.

Local care data remains until you delete it or remove the app's data. Purchase providers may retain transaction records for billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations and subscription restoration. Deleting care records does not delete provider transaction records or cancel an Apple subscription.

Your choices

You can edit individual care records, export records, and delete care events from Settings. Deleting care events applies to the selected baby and preserves that baby’s profile, preferences and access ledger. Other babies’ records stay. Removing a baby is a separate confirmed action. You can manage subscriptions with Apple. For questions or requests concerning support or subscription information we handle, email alexkiminbox@gmail.com. We may need to verify a request and may be unable to identify an anonymous subscription without information you provide. We cannot retrieve or delete local records on your device remotely.

App Store link

To decide whether to show the "Rate Little Logs" link, Settings asks Apple's public App Store lookup whether the app is listed. The request contains only the app's public App Store ID, not your baby's details or care records.

Children and health information

The app is intended for adults caring for children, not for children to use independently. Parents and caregivers decide what to record. Care information can be sensitive: protect your device and exported files. Little Logs is not a medical monitoring or emergency service.
